The hotel had lovely rooms with very traditional wood furniture that we adored; the walls were thick, ensuring a quiet and pleasant stay. However, there might have been an issue with bed bugs, which was concerning.

7.8/10

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the room was a bit old in appearance and heavily smelled of deodorizing spray, it was a pleasant surprise with a fireplace and a private patio. The cleanliness, especially in the bathroom, could have been better. The service was very helpful and accommodating, and the location was perfect for exploring Old Town Ventura and the beach. The dining options were decent but needed some improvement. Overall, it was a decent stay with its ups and downs.

Rooms

The room, although old in appearance and with a strong deodorizing spray smell, had a nice fireplace and private patio which were pleasant surprises. However, cleanliness, particularly in the bathroom, was lacking and needs updating.

The service was very helpful and accommodating, with friendly and kind staff who were well mannered and went above and beyond. They even assisted with getting change which was appreciated.
Location

The location was perfect for our needs, just a short walk from the beach and Old Town Ventura. It was convenient to reach all the boutiques, restaurants, and the pier within minutes.
Dining

The dining experience offered decent options with hot and delicious food, including scrambled eggs, sausages, cereals, and more.
Facilities

The facilities provided were average but satisfactory, meeting the basic needs for a comfortable stay.
